So Yummy...I'm craving it just thinking about it!

Ready for round 4...dessert!!
Justin and I escaped to Cali for our five year anniversary in July, we were so excited to get away for a few days and enjoy the amazing weather along with some peace and quiet. Justin's Mom flew in from Missouri to stay with the kids, she took such great care of them for us, while we relaxed on the beach. We ate at the Melting Pot on our anniversary night. We heard from several people how delicious the food was, so we decided to try it for ourselves, and let me tell you, it was hands down- the best food I've ever eaten! The next day we spent at Magic Mountain and learned that we aren't as young as we used to be!! I used to love roller coasters and all of the theme park mania but this time I nearly peed my pants on every ride!! We decided that since opportunities like these are very few and far between, we would spend the entire day there and go on as many rides as possible. I'm sure people thought we were so weird when they saw us running around the park like children and getting so excited when we found a ride that had a short line but we LOVED it!! I got literally soaked head to toe on the rapids which made the heat a bit more bearable and Justin about died on the X2 ride. Even though we left that evening bruised and beaten it was worth ever every bit of it! The next two days were spent on the beach recovering, the U.S. Open was at Huntington so we enjoyed all of the free shows and perks that went along with it, along with a little shopping. We also did a little house hunting... just for fun of course! I love wandering through neighborhoods along the beach coast and picking out houses that I could potentially live in, let's be honest though- really, I would take any single one of them! But it is fun to pretend!! We flew home Saturday evening feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! Needless to say, we had a blast and were ready to come home to see our sweet children!
