Huddy's Team; The Dragons held a loosing streak throughout the entire season, he had a great time though and we always told him as long as you had fun, ya won! So far, we don't see too much of the competitive (Read) gene when it comes to soccer, but Swayzie's drive made up for it! Justin hasn't given up hope just yet - he already has them signed up to start again in February, whether they like it or not. Hud's main priority when he comes to the game is not necessarily to win, but rather to scrap for the ball. Either he wasn't really aware of who's team he was playing on or he just didn't care, either way he was constantly snatching the ball from his own team mates and was shoving an elbow or two in order to do so. I thought it was embarrassing, but Justin just thought it was hilarious and was maybe even a little proud that his son turned out to be a scrapper just like him. ;)
Swayzie's team on the other hand, dominated every single team they played up until the final game. It was so close and such a bummer to loose the last game, but we were just proud that she played so well. Her games were so much fun to watch, every girl on the team had played soccer before which I think gave them a little advantage. Swayzie was always up in the mix of things and anytime she was on the field you knew she would make something happen. She didn't care so much about scoring goals, but she was so good at stealing the ball away from the other team and passing it to one of her team mates. She loves soccer, and you know her Dad is so excited about that! :) One of the teams they played, The Purple Panthers, had these crazy, obsessed Dads that were having the hardest time getting beat. You could tell they were used to winning every game, so when the Warriors came along and whooped their trash, one by one every single Dad got up and was barking at their kid from either the side line or by the goal. They were getting so flustered it was hilarious!! Justin and I couldn't help but laugh, because we both know there are times that Justin would like to react like that, but it takes so much for him to keep it together. Ha ha!
