Last night, the Mia Maids put together (all on their own) a luau for our combined Young Women mutual activity. The idea was to invite as many none members, or less active girls as you could and a few of the girls brought their friends, so that was really exciting. The girls did such an great job putting everything together, they helped prepare food and had fun little activities for the girls to enjoy they even decorated the place top to bottom with a cute little Hawaiian theme. The girls had a blast, including the leaders!! I had to catch myself a few times singing along to the music! It was so nice to see all the girls interacting so well together. They had a blast dancing and singing and just hanging out on their towels eating some yummy grub! It has been so fun working with these talented girls over the past year, I am the Mia Maids advisor and they are such a fun group of girls! They are just so free spirited and full of life!! It has been so fun to watch them develop into mature young women and have become great examples to their fellow Beehives. I am so excited to see what this next year has in store for us!!
