Our Family decided to take a trip to Brianhead after Christmas to get in some much needed snowboarding and relaxation. We rented a cabin with all my family and had a blast! Of course, there were a few chaotic moments on the drive up there. What we thought would be a six hour drive turned into an almost 14 hour drive there. Hey, at least we got to take a detour through Zion's and enjoy a scenic view! We were able to spend some time with my Grandparents and Uncle which is always a highlight! My kids just adore them! Our cabin sat on a huge hill that was piled high in about five feet of snow, so the boys decided to build a jump and snowboard back there while the kids went sledding. It was so much fun, my kids LOVED the snow!! They literally spent hours and hours back there and refused to come in. Hudson and my brother Jake actually crawled through the snow about a half a mile, and pretended to be tigers. It wore them out pretty well, and had him sleeping like a champ that night. We ended the evenings with card games and wrestling matches! Let's just say I finally took down my older sister Nicolle; however the way that she attacked me during our first match made me realize that I was up against a real grizzly bear. My goal now is to prepare for next years trip so I can have a shot at taking down the beast, Stacey. It might be a long shot considering she took down both Nicolle and I in about five min! Can't wait for the next trip guys!
