HoHoHO Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve: Just after they opened their Christmas jammies and slippers from Mom and Dad! Hudson's are a size 7/8... seriously!? He's 5 and they still look about two sizes too small, he was so ticked about them fitting so tight...

Christmas Morning: Santa Came!

Poor guy, it was much too early for him to be awake! He was so confused as to what all the commotion was about!

We had a great Christmas, we celebrated Christmas morning with Uncle Tee and had a quick visit from Grandpa and spent the rest of the day just playing! That's one of my favorite things about Christmas, just being able to spend the day with each other without any interruptions! The kids got everything they asked for- thankfully they're still easy and don't require any major purchases just yet... we're prolonging that as long as possible! Justin and I cooked up a yummy breakfast Hootenanny's, scrambled eggs and smoothies- we were even able to sneak in a quick nap without the kids knowing about it. The day flew by, but then again- doesn't it always!? The next day, we had a big Christmas dinner with Uncle Stew and Kady and Sofi! Kady's family came over as well and it was so nice to have a full house of wonderful people- it definitely feels more like Christmas that way! It's always bittersweet when Christmas comes to an end, I feel ready for things to slow down and mellow out a bit, and to have my house back in order, (pine needles everywhere and decorations coming out of my ears!) but I always end up missing having family around and knowing that Justin has to return to work and jump right into busy season is a really hard adjustment. I feel blessed that we were able to have him home for a full two and a half weeks! It was so fun, but it went sooo fast!!
