For Mothers day Swayzie's class hosted a lovely little tea party in honor of us Moms, they had prepared several songs to sing and served each mom a cup of lemonade and a muffin. Swayzie introduced me to all of her friends and let me see all of her lovely artwork hanging from the walls, her favorite part was showing off her little sister to all of her classmates. She loved walking her around the class and showing her around, she likes to refer to Harbor as her "sidekick" which she most definitely is. That little girl adores her big sis!!!
Her class also made each mom a cute little pencil holder that they painted and a book describing everything about us, from the color of our eyes to how old we are. I was talking to one of the Moms sitting next to me and she was telling me how funny it was that her daughter had written her age to be 99. She said she noticed another child had written their Mom to be 23, and thought it was so funny the ages that the kids had come up with. I was thinking to myself, oh yes, that would be me, if only she knew it was true!
Her teacher this year was so awesome, she planned so many fun events like this for the kids all throughout the school year and made them each feel so special. We will definitely miss her next year!
