This was the first year Swayzie and Hudson were able to pull an all-nighter with mom and dad. Harbor made it up until five minutes before midnight, we were pulling out the glasses and sparkling cider and lost sight of her. Just as we were getting ready to celebrate, we found her crashed out in our bed! Swayz and Hud showed no signs of being tired, they were going strong- running off of strictly caramel corn, toffee and sparkling bubbly. We passed the time by watching Ramona and Beezus (super cute!) and playing several rounds of Skip-bo and Uno! After we celebrated the new year and finished off the last of the caramel corn, Mom and Dad headed to bed while Swayzie and Hudson camped out in the tent in the front room. I don't believe they fell asleep until sometime between 1 and 2am! Were we lucky enough to sleep in past 7am? Of course not, the Read children would never allow that!! It was a fun night, I look forward to celebrating the new year for many years to come with these party animals!!
Swayzie came up with this one: 2011 we're going to heaven- So funny!
Mom: "It's midnight, now kiss!!" Hudson: "Like a true loves kiss!?"

Dad: Overcome his fear of bearing his testimony in church... yet, I was the only one to bear my testimony in church the next Sunday!? Seriously, he is such a wimp! ;)
Mom: Stop stressing about having a tidy house... seriously it's so not even worth it with little ones! Also, learn how to sew.
Swayzie: Pay closer attention during class when she is in 3rd grade and learn her articles of faith.
Hudson: Learn magic, and improve his lion roar- nice!
