Tomorrow, my Harby Barbie turns three! We love this little girl to pieces! Lately, we've noticed a big change in her, she has grown up so much and wants to be treated like the big kids. She definitely get's special treatment in this household, I really have no idea why that is. Maybe, because being a middle child myself, I can relate to being lost in the mix. Every night after we tuck in the older kids, Harbor spends a good two to three hours hanging out with Mom and Dad. Sometimes we play hide and seek, other times we watch Harry Potter together, but most times we hang out on the bed and let her talk and laugh together. It has been so good for her, and us. We just get the biggest kick out of her, she says the funniest things.
Some of her favorite things right now include; Pink, anything and everything. We recently pierced her ears after she decided to cut her hair and left me no choice but to cut the rest, which resulted in her resembling a young peter pan. The only way we could get her to agree to have them pierced was if the earrings were pink. She loves Dora, as do I. One episode of Dora, provides me with clean dishes and fresh laundry. She loves to dance and "shake me booty" to Single Ladies. She despises food... meals or anything homemade and lives off of a strict diet of cold cereal, apples, pb&j's, fruit snacks and fishy crackers. I'll take what I can get with this girl, you have not seen a temper tantrum until you have seen Harbor throw one. You don't want to cross this young lass. She is also a young addict of Diet Coke, you know she's craving one when she'll bring you one from the fridge for no reason at all and then proceed to follow you around, waiting for the moment you set it down so she can sneak a sip. Sneaky, sneaky girl! She, like her Aunt Meggy is a lover of fashion. She can become board of an outfit after just a few hours of wear, so you can imagine how much laundry that leaves her Mama. She is so much fun, maybe it's just this age... three does seem to always be my favorite. I enjoy my kids at all stages of life, it's just fun to see their personality start to blossom!
