Holiday Festivities

Homemade hot cocoa and yummy sugar cookies... we seemed to find an excuse to enjoy this little treat nearly every night!
It sure made for a delicious evening that we all looked forward to!!
The kiddos putting up the Christmas tree lights and ornaments. Typically, I am very particular about spacing out the ornaments evenly, however this year I decided to do myself a favor and let the kids take over!
I must say, they did a great job all by themselves!
Harbor was loving all the excitement!
Hudson, being his goofy old self!
Working together on the gingerbread house!
Harbor decided to come and investigate, and did a little taste testing herself!
Nice team work kiddo's, the gingerbread house turned out awesome!!
Temple lights, I wish I would have snapped a few more pictures! We were just too caught up in the moment!

All in all, it was a pretty low key holiday for us! We tried to squeeze in as much daddy time as possible, this time of year we have to share him with the busy world of Accounting! We were able to carry on a few of the family traditions of years past and spent plenty of time with family and friends! Mommy spent most of the holidays in the kitchen testing out her baking skills with lots of little helpers right on hand and the children were able to reap the reward. I was able to master a few more holiday treats and meals which I hope to carry on in years to come! The kids spent oodles of time outdoors soaking in the wonderful weather and trying to enjoy it as long as possible! We know it wont last much longer!!
