Road Trip (Part 2)

This trip made us realize how lucky we are to have such a great extended family. We were able to stay with Aunt Julie and Uncle John, Uncle Kirk and Aunt Judy, Grandma and Grandpa J, Grandma and Grandpa Slack, and Rachel and Owen. Everyone was so gracious and treated us so well. What did they get in return...probably screaming children at 4 am, continuous sugar-fueled hyperactivity, and a couple of broken household items. Thanks for putting up with us!

Let the worm hunting begin!
I wonder if Harbor knows that Owen is about to put this worm down her shirt? I think the skepticism is written on her face....
Grandpa teaching the boys a few tricks!
Not going to lie, this worried me just a tad bit.
Justin getting down and dirty in the rolled jeans and crocs. Love it!
Can't go wrong with Grandma J's Chimichanga's!

Grandpa provided nothing but pure entertainment throughout the trip! We couldn't get enough of it!

We love you Grandpa!
Grandma J was so nice to the kids. We are really going to miss them!

Uncle Kirk had to settle for our kids since his grand-kiddos are out of town. Look out for the close range shot to the face Uncle Kirk!

A trip is not a trip without a wrestling match with daddy. Kirk and Judy let us stay in their huge basement, which made for the perfect arena. Looks like Hudson could be sneaking up for a cheap shot!
Yep, there's the little cheap shot artist. Notice Owen showcasing a full headlock...pretty sure that one is illegal...

Aunt Judy was nice enough to let the kids take over the kitchen and make some crafts. Not sure what that is Hud, but we're glad you had fun!

Same thing with you Owen!

Harbor soaking in the Idaho weather and grass. Kirk and Judy's backyard was awesome and they didn't have any fences, so the kids essentially ran wild for the week!

Couldn't get enough of the tramp.
Can't tell if Grandpa is helping Hud with his food or stealing it? 50/50 chance either way...
One of the kids' favorite parts of the trip was sitting in Kirk and Judy's firepit and cooking up s'mores. With the amount of playing in the fire that went on, I'm surprised their house was still standing!

Uncle Kirk showed the kids the art of the golden marshmallow.
Cute cousin Camille! Picture taken by her little sidekick Swayzie. While at Aunt Julie's, Camille was so nice to the kids. She played tons of games with them and even let Swayzie enjoy a little sleepover in her room. Camille is going to make the perfect Mom someday!
Looks like a little rock, paper, scissors...Loser is it for hide n' seek!

We initially met up with Rachel and Owen at a cozy little park in Springville. These two hadn't seen eachother in a while, but picked right up where they left off. I'm pretty sure that they each dumped sand on the other within the first 10 minutes of their reunion!
Aunt Julie was so sweet to pack us all lunches for our playdate with Owen and Rach.

On our way home, Rach and the Ericksons were nice enough to let us stay at their house. The kids couldn't get enough of Scout...all except Harbor. We had so much fun catching up and spending some time with them.
These studly guys had a blast together.

Good times at the Erickson's!
